Nat’l Law Enforcement Memorial Fund

The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF) is a nonprofit organization established in 1984 to honor and remember law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty. Headquartered in Washington, D.C., the NLEOMF is responsible for the creation and maintenance of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial, which serves as a national monument to fallen officers. The organization also organizes National Police Week each May, culminating in a Candlelight Vigil on May 13 to honor these officers. Homes for Our Troops

Homes For Our Troops (HFOT) is a nonprofit organization founded in 2004 with the mission to build and donate specially adapted custom homes to severely injured post-9/11 veterans, enabling them to rebuild their lives. These homes are designed to provide full access and independence, featuring over 40 adaptations such as wider doorways, automatic door openers, and roll-under sinks. Since its inception, HFOT has constructed over 400 homes across 45 states, with more than 70 projects currently underway. The organization ensures that there is no cost to the veteran for these homes, as they qualify through the VA Specially Adapted Housing Grant. HFOT continues to support veterans after home delivery with services like financial planning, homeownership education, and a peer mentoring program. Paralyzed Veterans of America

K9s for Warriors

K9s For Warriors is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing highly trained service dogs to military veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), traumatic brain injury (TBI), and military sexual trauma (MST). Founded in 2011 by Shari Duval, the organization pairs veterans with rescue dogs, offering a comprehensive three-week training program at no cost to the veteran. The program aims to mitigate the debilitating symptoms of service-connected traumas, helping veterans regain independence and improve their quality of life . Research has shown that 92% of veteran graduates report a reduction in medication, and 82% experience reduced suicide ideation . The Gary Sinise Foundation

The Gary Sinise Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded in 2011 by actor and longtime military advocate Gary Sinise.
